Wellen was chosen to lead the design-build effort for Charles Sutera, DMD, who was launching a new practice in Waltham, Massachusetts. The site chosen was a 2,000 square-foot space in a retail strip mall in a high-profile location. We brought in an architect and coordinated efforts with the dental equipment supplier. Dr. Sutera practices sedation dentistry, which requires a medical gas system to deliver the needed anesthetics to the treatment areas. The finished clinical space includes five treatment rooms, a consultation area and associated support spaces. The project was completed in the spring of 2019.
