When Traci Portnoff, DMD, realized her professional goal of assembling a group practice under her leadership, the existing office was inadequate—a converted residential property. Dr. Portnoff engaged Wellen to help coordinate the design and construction of a new facility for the practice she named Cornerstone Dental Care. In just four months, we built out a 4,500 square-foot space in an existing commercial plaza in Westborough, Massachusetts. The new facility has a sophisticated, welcoming décor, with six treatment rooms and associated support spaces, consult and administrative areas. The design included staging two other rooms with utilities in place for future conversion to treatment rooms as the practice grows.
