Creating a modern dental space in an existing office building for Talar Guldalian, DMD, had its challenges. The new office would be located on the third floor, right above a dance studio. To run the plumbing and utilities needed for the treatment rooms required opening up the ceiling of the dance studio. A consultant who specializes in startup dental practices referred Dr. Guldalian to Wellen because of our experience with complicated projects. We worked cooperatively with dance school management, and performed all the needed construction at night, cleaning up and securing the work area by morning so the dance school could operate. It took a week to complete the plumbing and utility work, and students at the studio didn’t miss a beat. The result, a modern dental office of 1,800 square feet, with five treatment rooms, laboratory and sterilization areas, a staff lounge and pleasing patient areas opened in 2018 for Dr. Guldalian to grow her practice.
