When Lisa Tyler, DMD, decided to move her successful practice from Narragansett to East Greenwich, R.I. she had a clear vision of the space she wanted to build. Dr. Tyler is endodontist who specializes in saving teeth with root canal therapy, which means her patients have longer visits than a general dental practice. So, Dr. Tyler wanted to create a space that was both clinically advanced, yet comforting for patients. Based on a recommendation from one of our design partners, Wellen was engaged to transform a former 1,200 square-foot yoga studio into a modern endodontics clinic. The plan included two advanced treatment rooms, a sterilization center, a staff lounge and private office in addition to a patient waiting area and rest room. The project began in the spring of 2020, and our team had to adapt to the protocols of working in the COVID-19 pandemic. The office was completed in the summer of 2020.
