After completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University and a postgraduate residency at the world-renown Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Alexander Moheban established his own practice in Northborough. A nationally recognized leader and lecturer on advanced esthetic dentistry using CAD/CAM computerized technologies, Dr. Moheban’s practice grew rapidly. Over time, he faced the need for a larger facility to accommodate growth. During the planning process for a new facility, Dr. Moheban had an opportunity to acquire another dental practice in the area that would add 600 patients to his group overnight. Dr. Moheban acquired the practice and moved forward with plans to build a new dental center.

Dr. Moheban selected an architect and engaged Wellen Commercial to serve as the general contractor for the project. The site was vacant land on the Southwest Cutoff, a high-profile commercial corridor in Northborough. Over the course of seven months, working closely with the architectural team and Dr. Moheban, we constructed a 4,200 square-foot free-standing building designed for a modern multi-specialty dental practice. The building has 12 treatment rooms, imaging suites with the latest technology, and dental labs to support the practice. The project included significant site work, a parking lot, and careful erosion control measures to protect nearby wetlands. The project was completed on time and on budget in the summer of 2019.
